Clothing

Interview with Tim and Bob

JM: What clothes could you have brought in to wear in the jail (underwear, socks, etc.)?
Tim: Street clothes. Since we were only there for the night, there was no need to make us change into jumpers or get the body cavity search.

JM: If you had a set uniform, what did it look like? Please be specific about each piece of clothing issued to you.
Tim: No, there was no set uniform.
Bob: yes. general population = blue canvas shirt and pants with elastic waistband and SD Jail stenciled prominantly on both Flight risk and high power = green Inmate Worker = tans everyone gets white undies, socks and orange rubbery sandals

JM: Were there any assigned clothes in high demand that an inmate should look for when getting clothing assigned?
Tim: None that I know of.
Bob: clothes without holes, tears, questionable stains and in the appropriate size are always in high demand but good luck getting them unless you have some juice aka respect

JM: Was the clothing different between men and women?
Tim: I'm sure it was, but I didn't see any women.
